Malaysian Artist Creates Fluffy Cats Using Just Ink And The Result Looks Hauntingly Beautiful

In a series called The Furry Thing, artist Kamwei Fong illustrated black cats with her unique texturing style. The delicate fine lines give viewers a very satisfying feeling. Similar to her other work, The Furry Thing emits a calming aura, and the minimalistic look further enhance the effect.

“I draw them by shading with tons of tiny furs,” Kamwei shared. “It is indeed a very time consuming process. Small ones like A3 could take a few days, big ones like 25×37 inches could take a few weeks.” The thickness and density of the lines are varied to create different textures.
