Artist Creates Illustrations Of Cats That Are Inspired By Traditional Japanese And Medieval Art

Meet Jake Giddens, a talented artist from US, who has been illustrating professionally for 6 years. He has had the privilege to work on everything from editorial illustrations, graphic tees for major companies, and album art for recording artists.

When asked about the inspiration of illustrations of cats, the artist shared, “When I moved into my own apartment I realized I could come up with a theme and decorate it however I liked. Realizing I’m a fan of cats and Japanese woodblock prints I decided to combine those interests and make these art prints for my new home. Took me about a month and a half, while juggling other projects, to complete.”
