They can be very cuddly when you feed them and be very gentle when they get comfy. However, cats are finicky creatures with moods, so they can quickly change from happy to upset if things don’t go their way. So, when your cat is angry, you should back off and give him or her space instead of escalating the situation. If you continue to prod a cat who is angry, you can get yourself scratched and bitten.
