People around the world are being asked to self-isolate and socially distance themselves in order to prevent catching coronavirus. But for pet owners, especially dog owners, staying isolated at home can be difficult because their dogs need to get some exercise. Unfortunately, they won’t be able to take them beyond their house for exercise, and they can’t do anything without owners.
In order to deal with this problem, one pet owner named Vakis Demetriou came up with a creative and clever way to make sure his dog could still enjoy her time outdoors while at home in self-quarantine.
Demetriou posted a video on Facebook, and not surprisingly, it quickly went viral. Watch the special sight in the video below:

As you can see in the video, a white dog is out for a stroll on the streets near her home in Cyprus. However, the dog is not alone, she is being guided along the way by a remote-controlled drone. It was an unusual sight, indeed.
In fact, taking pets on walks is typically still allowed in some places that have been placed under lockdown. But after all, as Demetriou wrote on Facebook, it’s important to look for happiness in these trying times: “Stay home to be safe and don’t forget dog happiness.”
We hope that this creative solution will become a message than to be put into use by others. During this difficult time, staying at home will be one of the best ways to protect yourself and limit the spread of Covid-19. And of course, don’t forget to look for happiness and spread it to your friends and loved ones.
